The February Ordinary Council Meeting Outcome has determined that:

• Council will NOT proceed with the establishment of a Tree Preservation Order for Private Trees and continue to work with the community to voluntarily identify and include targeted private trees on the Significant Tree Register.
• As part of a Greening Strategy to improve urban tree canopy of public trees, Council conduct an education campaign to promote the retention of trees in the urban landscape.
