Overview

This policy helps us and our customers in the planning and management of sewerage schemes across the Dubbo Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA).

It covers connections to our sewerage network, including customer responsibilities, technical requirements, and pricing. While it provides general guidance, it does not override design and construction specifications, Australian Standards, development conditions, or any other applicable legislation or regulations.

The policy also helps us meet our obligations under relevant legislation, licences, approvals, and reporting requirements, particularly in areas such as public health, workplace safety, environmental management, and performance monitoring.

The Policy does not apply to onsite sewerage installations.

The Draft Sewerage Services Policy now incorporates all the pre-existing standalone policies into one easy to read policy.
