Routine timber bridge maintenance works are scheduled for the Benolong Old Timber Bridge. Council has engaged private bridge contractors for the purpose of undertaking repair work to the timber bridge, commencing on 27/6/2023 weather permitting. The works are expected to take 4 days to complete.

Scope of work includes the removal and replacement of some timber elements of the bridge deck.

Proposed traffic implications:

• The bridge will remain open to traffic during these works,
• Expect delays of 5 to 10 mins at various times throughout each workday.
• Traffic controllers will be in place to direct traffic movements.
