Express your interest in being part of a community-based discussion on the referendum in a respectful and open manner. Leaders and advocates with both technical and/or community centred viewpoints are encouraged top apply.

The panel and event will be held with the following framework in mind.

• Facilitator will guide discussion and formalities
• Two panellists from both Yes and No viewpoint
• Panellists will be selected from within the region
• Panellists are expected to have reasonable insight to the referendum but are not expected to be constitutional experts
• Questions themes will be provided to all panellists in the week leading into the event
• All community questions will be reviewed by Council to ensure respectful and moderated discussion
• Panellists will be limited to a time limit for each question posed to the panel
• Upon selection, panellists will need to acknowledge a code of conduct
• The event will be livestreamed and recorded and placed online

The event will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Center on Tuesday, 10 October 2023 from 6pm for an estimated 2 hour duration.
