Crown Reserve 96989, 8701 Burrendong Way, Apsley

Pursuant to Clause 47A of the Local Government Act 1993 No 30, it is notified that Dubbo Regional Council, Crown Land Manager for Crown Land Reserve 96989, at 8701 Burrendong Way, Apsley, intends at the expiration of 28 days after the date of this publication of notice, to give consent to a proposal by the Crown Land Manager specified in Schedule 1 hereunder, to grant a Licence in respect of Land specified in Schedule 2 to the Entity as detailed in Schedule 3.

Submissions in writing may be made to Council concerning the proposal within the period not less than 28 days from the date of this publication.

The whole of Reserve 96989 being Lot 7021 DP 1020763, 8701 Burrendong Way, Apsely in the Parish of Wellington, County Wellington and comprising an area of approximately 2.7 ha.

Schedule 3

Crown Lands Act 2016 Short Term Crown Licence to Benjamin & Kellee O’Brien, for a term of Twelve (12) months, commencing 1 December 2024 for the purpose of Grazing.

Written or electronic submissions are welcome during the public exhibition period from 9am on Thursday 24 April to 9am on Monday, 26 May 2025.

Pursuant to Clause 47A of the Local Government Act 1993 No 30, it is notified that Dubbo Regional Council, Crown Land Manager for Crown Land Reserves 79379 and 98070, Geurie Bald Hill Reserve, Reserve 96146, Mugga Hill Reserve and Reserve 120111, Dundullimal Reserve , intends at the expiration of 28 days after the date of this publication of notice, to give consent to a proposal by the Crown Land Manager specified in Schedule 1 hereunder, to grant a Licence in respect of Land specified in Schedule 2 to the Entity as detailed in Schedule 3.

Reserves 98070 and 79373 at Geurie being hold of Lots 91 DP 754313, Lot 7300 DP 1147298, Lot 7020 DP 1069880, Lot 214 & 213 DP 754313, Lot 234 DP 754313 and Lot 230 DP 754313 known as Geurie Bald Hill Reserves in the Parish of Geurie, County Lincoln and comprising an area of approximately 107.17 ha.

Reserve 96146 at Dubbo being whole of Lot 7311 DP 1138842 known as Mugga Hill Park, in the Parish of Dubbo, County Lincoln and comprising an area of 20.13 ha.

Reserve 120111 at Dubbo being whole of Lot 7300 DP 1133736 known as Dundullimal Reserve, in the Parish of Dubbo, County Gordon and comprising an area of approximately 10.22ha.

Schedule 3

Crown Lands Act 2016 Short Term Crown Licence to Dubbo Mountain Bike Club Incorporated for a term of Twelve (12) months, commencing 1 September 2024 for the purpose of Access through a Reserve and Sporting and Organised Recreational Activities.

Written or electronic submissions are welcome during the public exhibition period from 9am on Friday 2 May to 9am on Monday, 2 June 2025.

Submission Process

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act 1998, written submissions received by Council containing personal information may be made public when the matter goes before Council for consideration, as it may be included in Council’s Business Papers. Persons have the right to remain anonymous if they so choose by refraining from submitting their personal information, however, the submission may be given less weight in the overall assessment and consideration of the draft Licence or Lease.
