FAQ's
Entry into the competition is limited to one entry per person.
- Entry is open to any resident of Australia who is 18 years of age and over, or who is between 12 – 18 years of age with parental or guardian consent to enter.
- Council’s Executive Leadership Team and Employees of the Dubbo Regional Council and their immediate families (defined as living in the same household) of the Promoter (Dubbo Regional Council) are ineligible to enter.
- The decision of Dubbo Regional Council’s Chief Executive Officer as to who is eligible to enter and selection of prize winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into, including in the event of a dispute.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including the entrant’s identity, age and place of employment) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

There will be a monthly prize draw and entrants will be eligible for the prize within the outlined dates of sign up.
The draw will be conducted on the nominated day through a random number generator. All eligible entrants from the month will be randomly selected using an excel spreadsheet and the random number generator.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter the competition repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

The use of the myDubbo Region Shopping Card is subject to the myDubbo Region Shopping Card EFTPOS Gift Card Conditions of Use listed on www.mydubboregion.com.au. By accepting the Prize, a Winner agrees to be bound by the myDubbo Region Shopping Card EFTPOS Gift Card Conditions of Use. Any transaction associated with the use of the myDubbo Region Shopping Card will be deducted from the total amount of funds on the card at the time the transaction is made. The card is not reloadable and is valid for three years from the date of loading as per the Terms and Conditions of the administrating Company, Why Leave Town Promotions.
Each myDubbo card will have clearly marked the value of the card, the valid until date and copy of the load receipt.
In acceptance of the Prize, the Winner acknowledges that they may incur additional costs associated with redeeming the Prize which are the entire responsibility of the Winner.
Once the prize is conferred, i.e. in the possession of the winners, the Promoter is not liable for any incidents or activities engaged in by the Winner after the initial point of conferring.
By accepting the Prize, the Winners agree not to engage in any legal or unsafe behaviour whilst redeeming the Prize.
The Prize cannot be redeemed at stores not registered as participating in the myDubbo Region Shopping Card Program.
The prize will be deemed unclaimed if it is not collected as and when directed by the Promoter.
A further draw for the prizes, if unclaimed, may take place by the end of the corresponding month at the same place as the competition draw, but this is subject to change.
The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
