We've been successful in securing almost $12 million for the repair of the approach and stabilisation of the riverbank on the Gobolion Street side of the Duke of Wellington bridge thanks to joint funding from the Australian Government and NSW Government, through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

The areas around the bridge were severely damaged in the major flooding events of 2022 with significant erosion to the riverbanks that supported the bridge and the approach roads.
