A joint initiative between Dubbo Regional Council and Narromine Shire Council will seek valuable insights from our communities to form the development of a Drought Resilience Plan. This plan will build community resilience during drought and create a proactive approach to drought events for the long and short term.
The successful grant application was a collaboration between Dubbo Regional Council and Narromine Shire Council, which received $200,000 from the Regional Drought Resilience Planning (RDRP) round 2 Grant.
Independent consultants will be appointed to undertake community engagement activities that are inclusive, accessible and reflect our communities to harness insights in the development and implementation of the Drought Resilience Plan.
