The draft Dubbo Region Events Strategy will guide the creation of new events, nurture the growth and sustainability of existing events, and ultimately cultivate a vibrant, diverse, and culturally rich events calendar.
By fostering a thriving events landscape, this draft strategy not only serves to enhance the social and cultural fabric of the community but also drive economic growth, tourism and regional identity.
The draft Dubbo Region Events Strategy will provide a transparent and strategic pathway for Dubbo Regional Council to support local event organisers and assist in the growth and prosperity of our local events program.
The strategy will also set the direction for Council to strategically attract and retain major events.
We encourage all members of the community to review the policy and share their views.
This policy will be open for feedback until 9am 25 September 2025.
