Council recognises the importance of events as drivers to deliver a mix of social, cultural and economic benefits.

In development is a strategy that will inform and guide Council's event support, development and attraction activities.

The Dubbo Region Events Strategy will provide a transparent and strategic pathway for Dubbo Regional Council to support local event organisers and assist in the growth and prosperity of our local events program. The strategy will also set direction for Council to strategically attract and retain major events.

We are asking the community and key stakeholders to provide thoughts and ideas that may help shape how we support events, assist event organisers and secure major event activity.
