Overview

This project is a Dubbo Regional Council road safety initiative under the NSW Safer Roads Program. The program is aimed at improving road safety for motorists at selected sites along our road. Council identified the section of Burrendong Way for improvement based on clusters of traffic accident history along this stretch of road.


This series of infrastructure upgrades have been underway since 2020, the progress has been challenging due to ongoing environmental impacts with flooding and water saturation. We are pleased to share with community the progress of these upgrades and the investment into our regional roads.
